We started out breeding leopard geckos and vending other reptile shows, but have now been hosting the Herp Shows for almost 10 years. Our love of animals and reptiles, desire to reach more people, and bring an exotic business to the Bryan-College Station area drove us to open the Herp Shop!

I got my first reptile, a leopard gecko, when I was 16 and my fascination with reptiles grew from there. I soon started to get more involved in the husbandry and breeding of different reptiles. This was around the time I met my husband. We now have 3 kids and owned an exotic pet store in Oklahoma for the last 7 years. We have over 80 reptiles and are always looking for more.

I've had a deep passion for animals and nature, since I was a little kid. I grew up watching animal documentaries, The Crocodile Hunter, and spent a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. I was raised to respect all wildlife and never kill what you're not going to eat. I got into the reptile hobby back in 2017 after I got my first snake, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa named Jackie. I've been hooked ever since, with a specific passion for snakes and large lizards. I've worked for the HERPShop since before we opened. I love the fact that I can learn something new every day and work with the animals I'm so invested in.

Howdy! I'm from South Texas and am a Texas A&M graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries. I grew up with horses and cattle, but when I got to A&M my love for exotic animals flourished. Working at Winnie Carter Wildlife Center as an Education Coordinator has taught me about so many aspects of exotics like husbandry, veterinary care, and conservation. I did not grow up with reptiles, but the Reptile Hospice in Snook made me fall in love with snakes, especially colubrids!

Howdy! I'm from West Texas and am a graduate from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Anthropology. I studied microplastics and was in the TAMU Zoological Society throughout undergrad. I've always had a passion for nature and the animals that inhabit it. I grew up watching shows like "Zoboomafoo", reading every animal book I could get my hands on, and interacting with every animal in my path. I'm an 8th grade science teacher at SFA Middle School and miss the Herp Shop during the school year almost as much as I love teaching. Getting to spend time with, care for, and educate people on such beautiful creatures makes me so happy.

I was born and raised in Bryan. Growing up we'd always go play in the woods looking for and playing with different animals. My parents would let me have any animals I wanted, as long as I took care of them myself. So, as an adult I've dove futher into investing in my knowledge of these animals and their proper care. I got my first reptile, a leopard gecko names Pixel, in 2020. I went to the first Herp Show in Bryan and have been coming to the Herp Shop ever since it opened. I now teach my family to be just as curious and respectful of animals as I was raised to be.

Howdy! I’m from Southeast Texas and will soon graduate from Texas A&M with a B.S in Zoology and a minor in Ecology and Conservation Biology. I grew up watching Go Diego Go and catching frogs, but volunteering at the Snook Reptile Hospice with the Zoological Society gave me a new found passion for all reptiles. I can’t imagine doing anything other than working with reptiles and educating others about them!

Hello! I was always that kid running in the woods and picking up random critters, and now that I’m grown I’ve filled my house up! My little zoo keeps me happy and always looking for a new animal to obsess over.
